MBP is pleased to announce the closing of a ground-up construction of an 18-unit, for rent apartment complex in the heart of San Francisco. MBP was able to secure a $4.8M debt placement with a competitive local community bank. The borrower has owned this property for over 10 years and spent 3 years entitling the project. Although there was lack of recent development experience within the sponsorship profile, MBP structured a solution for sponsorship to wholly own the development while leveraging imputed value in the land to reduce cash to close.
